Why lemons are good for you

SHOOT: Lemon juice on chicken is very nice, and on salads, with a little olive oil, it gives it a juicy tang. I usually suck the fruit out of a slice of lemon when I've downed a glass of sparkling water a restaurant. :-* Yum!

Sufferers of chronic rheumatism and gout will benefit by taking lemon juice, as will those who suffer from uterine haemorrhages, rickets and tuberculosis. In pregnancy, lemon water helps to build the baby’ s bones.
